A Conscious Cup / A guided coffee tasting experience through somatic awareness.

You will receive a box with 100g of whole bean coffee (enough for four cups), access to a recording of the guided audio, which includes instructions on how to set up the experience, and tasting notes sheets to record your perceptions.
A Conscious Cup begins with a bit of storytelling to transport you to origin. You’ll then be asked to participate in a short breathwork exercise to engage your somatic awareness, and from there you will be guided along in the tasting where you will become aware of how you perceive the coffee as you smell and drink it. The experience is layered with music that was created specifically for this coffee - the soundscape captures the essence of the energy of the coffee and includes small moments recorded at the farm such as the wind, the plinking of cherries into buckets and the crackling of coffee roasting in a brick oven - all to deepen your connection with the origin of the bean. The guided tasting is meditative and engaging; it’s meant to transport you as much as it is designed to bring you closer to yourself and your connection with coffee.
